While I gained a lot from my time as an estate agent, I soon realised my real interest lay in helping people with the financial side of home ownership.

That led me to retrain as a mortgage broker, and eventually step into management roles, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the entire homebuying journey — from initial viewing to getting the keys.

Along the way, I’ve worked with major introducers like Rightmove and spent time in the corporate world. But to be honest, the box-ticking and target-chasing never sat well with me.
